Ajarn Vladimir I. Tselev

Short Bio.

    Mr. Vladimir I.Tselev earned his M.Sc. Hons. degree from The Moscow Peoples’ Friendship University in Russia, where he subsequently completed a Ph.D. program in functional analysis and graduated as a researcher. He worked for three years as a senior mathematician and researcher in its Computer Centre and later for more than 15 years as a permanent faculty of the Department of Differential Equations and Functional Analysis. His research interests have been mainly focused on ill-posed inverse problems in geophysics. He is the co-author of the patented GRAD method of interpretation of anomalous geo-potential fields and the author of several applied software packages adopted for industrial use in the late nineteen-eighties.

    He also spent three years in Cuba as a visiting professor and consultant, specializing in new educational technologies. Then after coming to Thailand in 1994, he worked for 6 years at King Mongkut University of Technology (Bangkok) teaching various mathematical courses to students in the Applied Mathematics and School of Architecture programs. Mr. V.Tselev is one the longest-serving faculty members of Asian University, working as a lecturer in Mathematics in the Engineering Faculty for more than 14 years.
