Job Description
We are looking for a Video Production Specialist who will be responsible for working with Asian University lecturers and staff members to produce high-quality videos for MOOCs, video-based instruction pieces, university promotional and marketing materials, and other administrative purposes. The Video Production Specialist will also act as an instructional assistant.

 

Key Activities:

  • Ability to manage projects from the planning stages through final production
  • Coordinate with Asian University staff to adopt new technologies and ensure consistent quality standards
  • Responsible for planning and producing video and audio products for MOOCs, video-based instruction pieces, university promotional and marketing materials, and other administrative purposes
  • Working with Asian University staff and clients to identify specific needs of video products and consistency in production standards
  • Maintain equipment and software, including identifying new technologies appropriate for adoption
  • Able to supervise and train student employees
  • Able to provide online courses on MOOC production

 

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Video production or a closely related discipline from a Ministry of University Affairs accredited institution. Candidates with High Vocational Certificates or lower with strong backgrounds in related fields will be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital video production and editing
  • Experience in project management and online video production
  • Proficient in related software such as Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Premiere, or equivalent
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Experience in producing and editing digital sound files is a plus
  • Experience in MOOC video and material production is a plus
