Digital Content and Communication is a rapidly growing market sector and for Thailand to emerge as a serious player, it needs to shift its position from importer to producer, therefore it’s imperative that this curriculum is flexible enough to respond to any future development at very short notice. The programme will focus on socio-cultural and moral issues that new media and technology brings to the world and will encourage students to become critical thinkers and leaders within this field. Students will learn how to take a world viewpoint that is also sensitive to individual societies and cultures. The students graduating should be able to communicate their ideas confidently, collaborating with peers and working with dedication, integrity and commitment.

digital-communicationDigital Communication is designed to prepare graduates to be visionaries in the current digital technology revolution when they enter this cutting-edge industry. The Digital Communication programme at Asian University allows students to explore their creative potential and develop the skills that are needed for the emerging technology that will result in highly effective media-rich communication. The program focuses on developing skill sets to engage with a wide range of digital media design and communication including: interaction design, user interface, user-experience, usability, human interaction, web technology, mobile application, sound design, digital film, motion graphics, digital content management and etc.

Digital Content-AnimationDigital Content – Animation is designed to offer a comprehensive ‘hands on’ training component to prepare students for the 3D industry at the very highest level. Digital Content – Animation programme at Asian University helps students learn how to create animated movies, from hand-drawn sketches to computer-based animation. Students will be involved in the three stages of animation work: pre-production, production, and post-production. They will gain knowledge, skills, and competencies in the fields of: creating stories, storytelling, storyboarding, character design, character modelling, texturing, lighting, rigging, animation, rendering, compositing, sound editing and video editing.

Digital Content-Game DesignDigital Content – Game Design is designed to prepare students to be the next generation of game designers to enter this highly competitive industry at a professional level. The Digital Content – Game Design programme at Asian University allows students to become involved in every step of the game development process including: game structure, rules, game play, character, props, environment, scripting etc. Students will gain hands-on experience with both the 2D and 3D game development process from scratch to final production.
