Asian University is a privately owned international university located on the eastern seaboard, a 30 km drive from the seaside resort of Jomtien and Pattaya and 2 hours from the bustling busy streets of Bangkok.

Established with strong academic support from Imperial College, London, we first opened our doors for students in 1998. Asian University offers a high quality education where international lecturers interact in relatively small and challenging classes where English language is the medium of instruction and students are encouraged to critically think; analyze problems and have the confidence to compare and contrast different approaches to learning.

From August 2015 – the beginning of the new academic year in Thailand, Asian University will reposition itself to focus on the fields of service science and innovation, offering new courses to both full-time students as well as working professionals, locally and nationally through distance learning. Further to the undergraduate programs, the university will also serve as a centre of excellence in English language training and educational technology and a second to none innovative research centre providing consultancy services to local and national industry.

Using techniques such as blended learning, flipped classroom competency-based learning and our own, in-house, custom produced Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC’s), distance, affordability and practicality will now no longer be a barrier to anyone in the kingdom aspiring to achieve a meaningful qualification. So whether it’s a young learner that has just finished high school with a desire for an academic qualification but perhaps unable to commit full time or an experienced school teacher or nurse based in the north east of Thailand wanting to improve their English skills sets, this new approach to learning has no boundaries – literally. And of course, all programs will naturally be complimented with the traditional face to face teaching methods delivered from the full time academic lecturers here at the university.

And for the traditional bricks and mortar student wanting the full time campus experience, the residential dormitories along with the classrooms have been refurbished with the latest modern furniture and high tech classroom technology, that and with a new and exciting curriculum having just been approved, there has never been a better time to consider Asian University for your future.
